Marcin Deutschmann

Sociologist (MA) and linguist (PhD) working as an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Linguistics at the University of Opole, Poland, and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Sibiu (Romania). He employs qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods at the intersection of sociology, linguistics, cultural and media studies exploring how language and ideologies shape social life. He examines discourses related to gender, feminism, apostasy, politics, migration and conflicts, with a particular interest in those moments when dominant narratives are disrupted in favor of anti-systemic voices, reflecting his commitment to uncovering the transformative potential of language.
