Lucrezia Cattelan

My name is Lucrezia Cattelan, I am 24 years old, and I am currently in my first year of the Master's program at the University of Udine, where I study English and German Literature and Linguistics. I recently graduated from the same university with a dissertation that focused on a linguistic analysis of an excerpt from the third American presidential debate in 2016, employing the sociocognitive approach developed by Professor Van Dijk. This experience made me realize the vastness and complexity of the fields of linguistics and discourse analysis. Since then, I have developed a strong desire to further explore these disciplines and make the most of every learning opportunity in the remaining two years of my program—and beyond.
